Great blueberries, great picking experience
The biggest blueberry of the day!
August 1, 2016
Season officially ended. Thanks again for a very good year. We will be back July 4th, 2017.
July 7th,2017 Season officially started July 4th and we have picked 1000 pounds so far. The season will go on for quite a while because half of the berries are still green. Picking is slower but the berries are out there. There are still red currents and gooseberries as well. ( the little girl in the picture is now grown up and working with me on Saturdays).
We are located just South of downtown Sherwood off Ladd Hill road on Oberst Lane. Due to high demand, we will be open & staffed every Saturday from 7 AM to 5PM & Weekdays after July 4th..we use the honor system.
Price is $2.00 per pound. We accept cash or check. Please bring your own containers. We are still no spray & use organic fertilizer . We still have lots of berries. Picking will be excellent next Saturday. Judy
July 18th,2017 there are more blueberries this week. People are picking Blue Crop and some currents are still available.
July 30th..the season is ending. Determined pickers are still getting 10 pounds but it takes time to spread out the bushes and pick in-between . Picking will be ok Monday & Tuesday but after that I'm afraid the high temperatures forecast will dry out remaining berries. It took 30 minutes for me to pick a little over a pound this morning. Judy
